T. Rajendar Demands Fairness
Veteran actor and filmmaker T. Rajendar reacted very strongly after few reports said the shooting of Arasan had been stopped.
The film stars Silambarasan. It recently completed its first schedule in Madurai and moved to Chennai but news about the shoot being halted created a big discussion.
Rajendar clarified that he is not speaking just to support his son but to question what he feels is unfair.
He said a past issue with producer Ishari K. Ganesh was already settled legally and the court ruled in their favor. He questioned why the film shoot should be stopped now.
He also asked film bodies to support actors like they support producers. Rajendar said stopping a film affects many people and called for a fair and peaceful solution.
